Eat at Alboe is an authentic Indian food pick up, meal delivery and event catering service in Orange County. My food is tasty and packed with nutritional value for people who have busy lifestyles and want quality ready-cooked food at a reasonable price for their families. The food I cook has bright natural colors from fresh vegetables and Indian spices, which add an amazing taste and twist to my dishes. The best part about my food is that it tastes better than regular Indian restaurant food, and yet it is much healthier in terms of ingredients or nutrition, and is something I feed my family everyday as well. My customers live in San Clemente, San Juan Capistrano, Dana Point, Mission Viejo, Irvine, Laguna Niguel and surrounding areas and order meals for their families ranging from once to several times a week.My experience in New Zealand instilled in me the importance of eating healthy meals and consuming small portions. My family shares my passion and we all enjoy spending time together in the kitchen, where we cook, eat, be silly, laugh and enjoy great meals together.

I am Shilpi, mother of a 5 year old monkey, Syan and a 10 year old princess, Siyona. I am married to a wonderful, supportive and a great friend, Shrenik. I have always enjoyed cooking as far back as I can remember. I grew up in India and inviting my friends over since I was in 4th grade and cooking for them was the definition of a play date for me. I hand rolled my first bread (roti) when I was in 5th grade. Even though it wasn’t to my own standards, I never gave up learning. My mom, dad and sister have always been my inspiration. I always watched my mom cook delicious traditional meals, my dad helped chop vegetables and my sister has always been into making desserts. These beautiful memories and experiences has helped me become a chef that I am today. My meals include lots of fruits and vegetables and I believe eating healthy and vegetarian does not have to be boiled or steamed vegetables. My food has great taste because of natural colors coming from fresh vegetables, great flavors of Indian spices which not only adds amazing taste but also has huge medicinal value.

I spent a great number of years in New Zealand where I also went to Grad school and started my career in the Australia region’s largest food manufacturing company. I moved to the US after getting married to my husband Shrenik over 10 years ago. We make a great team, as Shrenik is a foodie and I love to cook and this passion gave birth to “Eat at Alboe – a little bit of everything”.
